GOSO supports a variety of social networks, bookmarks, microblogs and blogs. The top 3 social networks include: Facebook, MySpace and LinkedIn. The top 3 social bookmarks include: Digg, Delicious and StumbledUpon. The top 3 microblogs include: Twitter, Identi.ca and Tumblr. The top 3 blogs include: Wordpress, Blogger and MoveableType. These networks make up just a small part of a wider social media landscape that we support. We add several new networks every month, keeping up to date on the latest web trends.
Yes, we have a Facebook application available now and a MySpace application being tested that allows customers to actually search for your inventory directly from their respective websites. They don't even have to leave their social network to shop for vehicles.
GOSO was built with dealers in mind. It's been built so you can broadcast your inventory in the most efficient way possible to the widest number of networks possible, and it's regularly updated to incorporate features that keep it relevant to all the latest web trends. For example, when you broadcast to Facebook, we can include pictures or videos of the vehicle, but when we broadcast to Twitter, we can't, so we include a tiny url which sends them to the vehicle landing page. This is done by default, so you don't have to worry about it.
We designed our system to publish the data that is most relevant to that particular channel. On some channels you don't want to send too much information or send it too often, or you'll lose your customers' interest. Nobody likes being nagged. They do like being kept informed. Our social media experts have done all the groundwork for you. All you have to do is sell.
There's no one right way to get people to find your pages. We encourage a set of best practices for GOSO customers that we think ultimately give the best results. It's better to have a smaller group of interested customers than a larger group of non-interested readers. We have different widgets which you can place on your website and other marketing channels to send your customers directly to your GOSO social hub.
GOSO can do almost everything automatically. You just have to schedule it and we'll do the rest. However, we think you'll see better results if you take part in the social media revolution yourself. GOSO was designed to make social media easier, not make it automatic. Social media is about developing a conversation with your customers -- building up a relationship with them online before you sell them a car. There's a limit to what an automated system can do. Also, we strictly abide by social networks' Terms of Use and if they don't allow automatic posting, you won't be able to use that feature on that particular network.
GOSO generates HTML for every vehicle to enable you to post details to Craigslist. However, their Terms of Use prohibit the use of posting agents so we cannot automate this process on your behalf. If you use an automated service, you can be fined a substantial amount of money. There are also restrictions on how many vehicles you can post per location per day. We keep details of current restrictions regularly updated in the vehicle details section of GOSO.
Nope, we automatically publish your inventory to a variety of different shopping feeds every day. This is a fully automated service that requires no setup.
